The Expressions questionnaire cannot claim to make this emotional and complex procedure any less painful but it will ensure that your organisation is dealing with the process and people aspects as well as possible.
The questionnaire is divided into four sections:

Based around 4 key areas, Expressions measures:

This area defines how people feel they have been treated throughout the redundancy process.
- Clarity
This area defines how clear people are about the reasons for the redundancy.
- Support
This scale sets out how supported people felt throughout the redundancy process.
- Brand Impact
Free Text Comments
This section not only provides the organisation with a valuable insight into how it can improve the process but also gives the individual the important opportunity to express their feelings.
Biographical Profile
Built around your organisations structure and language this data can be used to monitor particular groups. For example, you may be concerned that a group of people are not being dealt with appropriately or appear to be having a different experience from others, using the biodata collected, Expressions reports provide the insight required.
Returnees/ Alumni (optional)
The questionnaire asks each person if they would consider working for the organisation again. There is an option to create an additional section within the questionnaire that captures the individual's contact details. This database of potential returnees is an excellent source of experienced people that can be used should the organisation wish to start recruiting again
in the future.
Expressions can be delivered by online or paper questionnaire and takes just 5 minutes
to complete.
